AMW Triumphs Again at Tryon

Sarasen Jablon and Kingstown

The AMW team spent several weeks at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in May and June, collecting more top ribbons and making great memories with our horses and barn family. The June 5-9 excursion was no exception!

Sarasen Jablon and Kingstown won all four jumping classes in the Children’s Hunter, 14 and under, section and topped the NAL/WIHS Children’s Hunter Classic with an 86 and 83! By virtue of their consistency, they earned the circuit championship in the Children's Hunters as well. “King” was also champion in the 3' Foothills Hunters with trainer Annie Walters that went during the week.

Caroline Oliverio and Motown finished their last show together by winning four of the five Long Stirrup classes and the Classic with an 80. They also placed second and second in the 2' USHJA Hunters out of a competitive group.

Chelsea Koornick and Truffle had great, consistent rounds in the Adult Amateur, 36-50, section. They picked up a second and fourth over fences among other great ribbons.

Christine Jablon and Winston

Christine Jablon and Winston joined Chelsea in that competitive Middle Adult section and placed first and second, two well-earned ribbons! They also placed second in a large 2'6” USHJA class with all the professionals.

Sarasen Jablon rode Crocodile Rock to victory in the USEF Pony Medal, and they also had some of their best trips in the Large Ponies where they received top ribbons in every class.

Kristin Paulson and Emontros After Party continued to rack up clear rounds in the jumpers. This week, they jumped around to a first, first and fourth in the .90m classes with confidence and style. Kristin’s son Anders Paulson and Balou De Nous jumped in perfect form to a blue ribbon in the jumpers this week as they returned to the show ring together after Balou’s lease was finished.

Brooke Farfone and Knee Deep added yet more great rounds to their record in the 3’6” Juniors. Brooke didn't miss a beat and was fifth in the Dover/USEF Medal, along with other good ribbons in the Junior Hunters.
