A Halloween Show to Remember

The Equus Events Halloween show was SO MUCH FUN and not to mention all the great ribbons won!

Our team went all out for the Halloween Costume Class, where we brought Christmas to Halloween! We’re so grateful for our talented parents and riders for going the extra mile to make this a show like no other! We were especially proud to win the Tack Room Decorating Contest!

“First, I'd like to thank my awesome barn crew ‘Christmas Chaos!’ These guys absolutely CRUSHED the barn decorations, earning us Best Decorated barn!” said trainer Annie Walters. “They also went above and beyond with these costumes. Our horses are SAINTS, and every day they blow me away with their tolerance and ability to adjust to all our crazy ideas. Cheers to Christmas in October!”

Also in the winner’s circle was Brooke Farfone and Testify. They captured the USHJA Junior/Amateur National Hunter Derby with scores of 86 and 88! They also had a bunch of seconds and thirds in the 3'6” Junior Hunters for their best show to date.

Lillian Cain and On Point won a 3'3”Junior Hunter class with an impressive 84, were second in another jumping trip and third in the under saddle for a great show.

Lulu Hardie rode Stanley Van De Klunderd to victory in the THIS Medal, and they also had a couple of blue ribbons in the .90m jumpers.

Kristin Paulson and Emontros After Party are continuing to learn their way around the hunter ring and putting down some great rounds. Caroline Oliverio and Ell Yes are enjoying their new partnership together while she’s learning how tolerant he is to being dressed up! They are also laying down their best rounds yet in the Low Children’s Hunters.
