A Fantastic Aiken Charity
The AMW Stables team had a great time during Week 1 at the Aiken Charity Horse Show! All the horses jumped great, and they earned some great ribbons in very competitive company at Bruce’s Field from May 3-7.
Sarasen Jablon and Crocodile Rock rocked their rounds throughout the week. They placed second in the USHJA Pony Hunter Derby with great scores and were champions in the 2'3” Aiken Non-Pro Hunters in a huge field! Sarasen also rode CRF Caramellow to excellent ribbons in the Aiken Non-Pro Hunters, including a blue over fences.
Caroline Oliverio and Thinking Out Loud won an over fences class in the Children's Pony Hunters. They also earned other great ribbons all weekend, including a second under saddle!
Lulu Hardie and her new mount, Quintender, had some great rounds in the 3' equitation and the Older Children's Hunters, including a third and fourth over fences. We look forward to seeing them continue to establish their partnership together this year!
Sarasen and Kingstown continued to add great rounds to their collection. They were second, second and fourth in a very large group of Low Children’s Hunters, and their consistency is being rewarded! Sarasen also rode King to second and third in the Equitation 12-14 classes.
Brooke Farfone and Knee Deep tagged along with us at this show and were fantastic. They scored an 84 in the 3'3” Junior Hunter Handy round and placed second in the E.J. Haun and fourth in the SCHJA Governor’s Cup. They also earned other great ribbons all week.
Lee Odum Fisk and Amoroso also joined us this week and earned tricolor honors. She scored an 86 in one round of the Younger Adult Amateurs and was second in a super competitive field. Lee also had other great rounds with great ribbons earning them the reserve championshi
Cassius Del Caribe Z and trainer Annie Walters had a score of 84 in the 3' Greens among a star-studded group. Cash also jumped around his second USHJA National Hunter Derby like a star! Annie also piloted On Point to great rounds in a huge 3'3” Green Hunter section.
Grace Beall and Straight Shooter laid down some consistent rounds in the Low Adult Hunters, for a successful show.
